Lorraine and Ed Warren
“The Conjuring 2” is based on the real life events that took place in the 1970’s in a suburb in London, England. Single mother Margaret Hodgson and her four children (who ranged from 7 to 13) were plagued by intense Poltergeist activity. The children experienced shaking beds, moving drawers, mysterious knocking, levitation and flying toys. There were a series of investigations by different paranormal groups into the phenomena, including an investigation by Ed and Lorraine Warren. The Warrens’ determined that the events were not caused by a haunted house, but instead was caused by spirits attached to the children, particularly the 11 year old girl, Janet.
