Last month we began to hear rumors and reports that Hideo Kojima was planning to leave the Konami Corporation. Kojima soon announced that as soon as his ‘Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain’ was released he would indeed be leaving the company, which left ‘Silent Hills’ in serious trouble.

Many gamers are about to be very disappointed with the news that I have to report. Director Gillermo del Toro announced last night at an event that ‘Silent Hills’ has officially been canceled. Unfortunately, there is no plan to resurrect the game any time soon. Reedus sent out a message about his disappointment and apologize to his fan via Twitter today.
