It has been a while since I have come across a horror thriller with such a well known, award winning cast, as the one lined up for ‘Return To Sender’. The cast includes ‘Gone Girl’ actress Rosamund Pike, Rumer Willis (Sorority Row), Scout Taylor-Compton (Halloween II), Shiloh Fernandez (Evil Dead (2013)), Camryn Manheim (The Ghost Whisperer), Alexi Wasser (Cabin Fever 2) and acting legend Nick Nolte (Cape Fear).
Director Fouad Mikati, writers Patricia Beauchamp and Joe Gossett have constructed a twisted tale about a woman (Pike) assaulted during a break in. The criminal is arrested and put behind bars. When she suddenly begins to visit the man in prison and builds a relationship with the man who forced himself on her, her father and friends are baffled by her behavior, but sometimes things aren’t exactly what they seem. Never doubt the lengths a will go too for revenge.
‘Return To Sender’ will be released by Image Entertainment some time later in 2015.
