Last years’ horror-comedy ‘What We Do in the Shadows’ was an international hit with horror fans. If you enjoyed the movie, we have good news, ‘What We Do in the Shadows’ is getting a sequel! Jemaine Clement co-wrote the first movie and who played Vladislav, confirmed during an interview with ‘Stuff’ in New Zealand that a sequel was indeed coming.
In ‘What We Do in the Shadows’ follows four funny vampires from different centuries, Viago (Taika Waititi), Deacon (Jonny Brugh), Vladislav (Clement) and Nick (Cori Gonzalez-Macuer), who are the subject of a documentary. The vampires are being filmed going about their every day lives, all while trying to come to terms with modern life. The vampires have grown attached to a man named Anton, but during an attack by werewolves he is turned. Word is, this time around the movie will focus on the life of Anton the werewolf, played by Rhys Darby.
