‘Citadel’ and ‘Sinister 2’ director Ciaran Foy, is preparing for his next project. Foy is teaming up once again with Blumhouse for his next tale of terror, ‘The Shee’. Foy isn’t taking any time off. ‘Sinister 2’ opens in the theaters today (August 21) and ‘The Shee’ has already entered into early production. Jason Blum will produce along side Roads Entertainment and Alan Maher under the Shadow Aspect banner.
‘The Shee’ is set in Foy’s native Ireland, in the 1960’s. The movie follows a young troubled woman who must face her tragic past after she travels to a remote island.
There have not been any cast members announced at this point, but with the way Foy is going and the excitement surrounding ‘Sinister 2’, he should have his pick of great actors.
