Fans Mourn The Passing Of Horror Legend Wes Craven

Tonight the horror community is left mourning the loss of one of the genre’s greatest legends. Writer/ director Wes Craven has passed away at the age of 76. According to information released  by his family, Craven passed away at his home earlier today (August 30, 2015) after losing his battle with brain cancer.

Craven was the writer and director behind both the ‘Scream’ and ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ franchises, along with many other projects. Craven’s career began with his directorial debut in 1972 of ‘The Last House on the Left’.

Craven will be missed by family, friends and fans world-wide. Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family and friends. His legacy will live on.
