On October 26th at 8pm (est), A&E will broadcast a special, hosted by horror director Eli Roth (The Green Inferno, Hostel). During the special, three people, in caskets, will be lowered into a hole and buried alive. Of course, they will be monitored and filmed while they attempt not to panic, all in the name of entertainment.
A&E made this statement about the goal of the event, which they describe as a “controversial psychological practice known as immersion therapy.” A&E stated “What’s the scariest thing you can think of? Guess what, it’s happening to you right now, better get over it fast, don’t die!” Scientist will be above ground to monitor the three victims, along with Roth, who will be there to discuss what the three are experiencing and what incites fear.
