Writer/director Francesco Picone’s zombie film Anger of the Undead will arrive in select theaters in the U.S. on January 8th and is currently out on DVD in Germany. Anger of the Dead is the full length adaption of Picone’s award-winning short film by the same name.
The full length film, produced by Luca Boni, Marco Ristori and Uwe Boll (Assault on Wall Street), stars Aaron Stiestra, Marius Bizau, Robert Sparta, Desiree Giorgrtti, Michael Segal, David White, Chiara Paoli and Claudio Camilli.
In Anger of the Undead the world is being ravaged by a virus that turns people into zombies. Alice, a pregnant woman, along with two men, are fighting to reach an island untouched by the virus. Meanwhile, a dangerous individual is following the group. Soon, Alice realizes that zombies may not be the most dangerous threat she is facing.
