Nicolas Cage will be starring in the upcoming horror-thriller Mom and Dad, written and directed by Brian Taylor, set to begin filming this July.
Cage will play the role of the father of two, a teenage daughter and a young son. The kids must survive 24 hours when their parents suddenly turn violent and set out to kill them.
“This is the kind of role Nic was put here to play. ” Taylor stated. “Human, funny, scary – and somewhat ground while at the same time completely off the rails.” He continued.
Let’s just hope that Mom and Dad is better than Cage’s last attempt at a horror film, Pay the Ghost.
