Baskin Finally Gets A U.S. Release Date

We’ve all been waiting for the for the release date to be announced for the Turkish film Baskin. News comes via Dread Central that Baskin will open at The IFC Center in New York on March 25th and at the Los Angeles Arena Cinema on April 1st. Baskin, which is Turkish for “police raid”, will be available on VOD on March 25th.

Baskin, directed and co-written by Can Evernol, along with Ogulcan Eren Akay, stars Gorken Kasal, Ergun Kuyucu, Mehmet Cerrahogulu, Sabahettin Yakut, Muharrem Bayrak and Mehmet Faith Dokgoz.

In the film 5 police officers on night patrol arrive at a creepy backwater town in the middle of nowhere after a call comes in for backup. After entering the building they realize that they have stumbled into hell. Things grow worse for the officers as they descend into an ever-increasing nightmarish netherworld where grotesque creatures and hellish torture await them.
