The dark drama The Mother of Beauty follows a new mother, living in isolation on the edge of wilderness. As she attempts to over come the struggles of motherhood, she must find a way to reconcile her affinity for death with the life she has brought in to the world. She makes her living through her work in “vulture Culture”; creating art using the remains of dead animals that memorializes the creatures’ existence.
Scream queen Tristan Risk (American Mary), has been cast in the film’s lead role. Mother of Beauty was written by Lonnie Nadler, and will be directed by Nick Meunier. Jessica Cole serves as Producer for this haunting short film. Steve Hayes is the director of photography and Rob Warren the production designer. The group has teamed up with Amanda West from Artfully Artless to create a one of a kind film.

“The world of vulture culture remains a largely unexplored. Most people have never even heard of it, and there are almost no films on the subject. With our film, we hope to bring exposure to this community and further explore their ideologies through a unique and heartfelt story.”
