Blumhouse, the prolific horror distributor behind hits such as Paranormal Activity, Sinster, Insidious and The Purge, has snagged the rights to Devil’s Night.

The film explores the night before Halloween, when young people get into mischief, pull pranks and throw parties. But there have been many times when more destructive practices come into play like murder, arson and other serious crimes. For some strange reason, Devil’s Night is rarely featured in horror films. The film that most capitalized on the holiday was 1994’s The Crow.
