Fans have be eagerly awaiting to learn what the theme will be of season six of American Horror Story. Today, the first three teaser trailers have arrived. Even though it does not directly reveal the theme, it does give us an idea of what we might expect.
The teasers give off a serious horror vibe, even darker than last season’s serial killers, vampires and ghosts. There’s screaming, chainsaws, hands reaching out from under stairs grasping an ankle, what looks to be a baby’s crib with weapons dangling above and a green hand reaching for the knife. In one teaser black smoke billows out of distant dark house’s chimney. Creator and showrunner Ryan Murphy has already told us that children will be very involved with this season’s plot, but we still don’t know in what way.
Lady Gaga will be returning for the season, along with Angela Bassett, Lily Rabe, Kathy Bates, Denis O’Hare, Finn Wittrock, Chloe Sevigny, Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, John Carroll Lynch, Even Peters and Sarah Paulson. The pale children from season 5 will also be returning, including: Shree Crooks, Emmory Mosteller, and Cannon Mosteller.
So far we’ve seen The Murder House, The Asylum, The Coven, The Freak Show and The Hotel. What twisted form of terror will AHS bring next? Luckily, the season premiere is not far off. It’s set for September 14th.
