Episode 4 of The Walking Dead was rough, but fans seem to the most concerned about Daryl (Norman Reedus). Daryl did not speak one word in the episode, but he may have said something very important. Early in the episode we see giant Morse Code picture hanging in Alexandria. The camera lingers on it as Michonne walks past it.

When Negan and Daryl first arrive we see Rick looking at Daryl. It appears that Daryl was trying to tell Rick something by possibly blinking in Morse Code. It catches Rick’s eye. We see it happen again as Daryl is leaving with the Saviors.

Fans have been watching clips of the scenes over and over in an attempt to translate Daryl’s message. Many believe that he was blinking, “I am east”, “6 miles east of Hilltop” or “Highway 6 East”.

Did Rick catch the message? If so, he seems to be keeping it to himself for now. With Carl, Michonne and many of the Alexandria residents wanting to fight back against Negan, it might be for the best to keep a secret for now. Rick wouldn’t want anyone going out and doing something stupid and getting people killed. Rick would wait until the right moment to tell everyone.

Take a look at the clip.
