Don’t worry there are no real spoilers here.

One thing that the incredibly popular series, ‘The Walking Dead’, is not scared to do is killing off main characters. In fact, I sometimes wonder if they enjoy it. It has been made clear to viewers that no one is safe.

Fans of Chandler Riggs, who plays Rick’s son Carl, have been in a panic. Not only has Riggs been accepted to Auburn University, a cryptic Facebook post from his father, William, has made fans wonder if Carl’s time on the zombie series coming to an end. The post has since been deleted, but don’t worry we are going to tell you exactly what it said.

7 year contract completed! Grateful to AMC, Cast & Crew, TWD fan base and especially Chandler for always being 100% dedicated. Whether it was getting up at 4AM, working in the freezing cold past 2AM, leaving his friends and carefree kiddom behind, scrambling to make up missed schoolwork, he has done it without complaint and always made me proud & amazed to be his dad.”

That doesn’t sound very good for Chandler’s character, does it? Fans took to social media with questions for Riggs, but have yet to receive any clear answers.

Don’t panic just yet, Riggs may be signing a new contract which would insure that Carl lives on. Or AMC may be getting ready to kill Carl, who has already been shot twice and lost an eye.

Some might bring up the comic. Carl lives on further than the point we are at now in the show, but the series has departed from the story line before.

Carl did aim a gun at Negan in episode 4. It’s a miracle Negan didn’t kill him right there and then.  In the next episode “Go Getters” Carl will make another risky decision. If Carl was to die it would be something that would either ruin Rick or spur him into action.

We will post an update when we have more information.
