If you want to add some credibility to your fighting game character, having Freddy Krueger voice him isn’t a bad way to do it. And on that happy note, Netherrealm Studio’s has decided to throw horror fans a bone, with the iconic Batman villain Scarecrow being voiced by the one and only Robert England in their upcoming DC fighting game, Injustice 2.

Shown here in a new trailer, titled It‘s Good To Be Bad, Scarecrow might fight with a bladed chain rather than a clawed glove, but Fred’s penchant for nightmares and horrifying alternate realities is kept intact.
While the trailer doesn’t show a whole lot of Scarecrow, England’s unmistakable voice rings through; and with unique opening dialogue for every combatant, Rob will be getting a lot to jabber on about. And no, while this isn’t quite as awesome as Freddy Krueger vs Batman, it might just be the next best thing.
