Shows like The Simpsons, American Dad, and Family Guy have all aired great horror themed episodes and parodies of our favorite genre films and series.
In season 14, episode 4 of Family Guy, titled ‘Peternormal Activity’, Peter and the gang took a stab at writing a horror movie. Not only did they come with a few ideas that played out like short films, they even payed homage to that famous scene in the first episode of The Walking Dead when Rick woke up to find the hospital was filled with zombies.

While trying to find the right atmosphere for writing the film they decide an abandoned Asylum would be the perfect place. The problem is, it is said to be haunted by a killer with a hook hand. Of course, things go sideways and the guys are left in a tough situation.
