The premiere of Spike TV’s new series The Mist, based on the novel by Stephen King, is only weeks away. A head of its June premiere, a new featurette has been unveiled that introduces to the show’s cast which includes Morgan Spector, Alyssa Sutherland, Gus Birney, Danica Curcic, Okezie Morro, Luke Cosgrove, Darren Pettie, Russell Posner, Dan Butler, Isiah Washington, Jr. and Frances Conroy.
The Mist centers around a small town and a family who is torn apart by a brutal crime. As they deal with the fallout an eerie mist rolls in, suddenly cutting them off from the rest of the world, and in some cases, each other. Family, friends and adversaries become strange bedfellows, battling the mysterious mist and its threats, fighting to maintain morality and sanity as the rules of society break down.
The 10 episode series is from Christian Torpe who not only created and wrote the series, but also serves as showrunner and executive producer. Tune in for the series premiere of The Mist on Thursday, June 22 at 10 PM, ET/PT on Spike.
