If you have been looking forward to the August release of Polaroid, from the producers of The Ring and The Grudge, you are about to be disappointed. Dimension Films has announced that the supernatural film needs a little more time to develop and won’t make its scheduled release date of August 25th. Instead, the film will be unleashed on December 1st, supposedly. Lets just hope it doesn’t end up in limbo like Amityville: The Awakening and Demonic, which wrapped back in 2015, have.
Based on a short film by the same name directed by Lars Klevberg, Polaroid centers on high school loner Bird Fitcher, a young woman who has no idea what dark secrets are tied to the mysterious Polaroid vintage camera she stumbles upon, but it doesn’t take long to discover that those who have their picture taken will meet a tragic end.

We will keep our fingers crossed that Dimension Films will actually release Polaroid this December, and that one day that we will see the other films that have been delayed repeatedly.
