The Strangers: Prey at Night, the long-awaited sequel to 2008’s home invasion hit The Strangers from Bryan Bertino, will soon be in theaters. Set to open in theaters in March, the first teaser has arrived and it is awesome.
While playing the tune ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ by Debbie Gibbson, the teaser is filled with action and blood and reminds us to “Never underestimate the kindness of strangers”. Did I mention that it is supposedly based on a true story? That turns the creepy factor up a notch or two, doesn’t it? The first poster has also been released.

Directed by Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down), the film centers on a family whose road trip takes a dangerous turn when they arrive at a secluded mobile home park to stay with some relatives and find it mysteriously deserted. Under the cover of darkness, three masked psychopaths pay them a visit to test the family’s every limit as they struggle to survive.
