Jordan Peele’s debut horror film Get Out is considered by many (including us) to be the best film of the year, in fact, it’s been nominated for an Acadamy Award. Following its success. Of course, fans were left wanting more.

Speaking with Deadline, Peele stated that he is open to a sequel.

I haven’t decided anything yet and I am allowing the creative part to bubble up, and not force it,” Peele told the site. “I know if a follow-up is meant to happen, it will. I’m open to figuring out what it is. But I also don’t want to let down the original and its fans. I simply would not do something like that for the cash.”

Peele has already signed a multi-picture deal with Universal to continue his series of social thrillers with the next film arriving in 2019. Here’s the kicker, it will have a budget 5 times the budget of Get Out. Peele is also currently working on another project titled Lovecraft Country
