If you have been waiting on Starz’s awesome series ‘Ash vs Evil Dead’ to arrive on a streaming service you have to wait no longer. Netflix is giving subscribers a groovy present just in time for the holidays, season one and two of the show starring Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams.
In the first two seasons, Ash, an aging lothario with his own unique charisma, befriends Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo), who is as tough as she is beautiful, and Pablo (Ray Santiago) who looks up to Ash like a hero. We watch as the trio go up against an onslaught of deadites, bad guys, and Ruby (Lucy Lawless) in an attempt to save the world.
The series, which is as much comedy as it is horror, was inspired by the 1981 cult classic written and directed by Sam Raimi, the show’s creator who also writes and directs along with others, and starred Bruce Campbell as Ash.
Not only has ‘Ash vs Evil Dead’ been on our radar from the beginning, it made it to number two on our “Best Shows Of 2016” List and has earned its spot again on this year’s list (which will be released next week). If you haven’t seen ‘Ash vs Evil Dead’ stop what you are doing and binge watch the hell out of it immediately, all 20 episodes, before the season 3 premiere on Sunday, February 25, 2018, on Starz.
“The third season finds Ash, having gone from murderous urban legend to humanity-saving hometown hero, discovering that he has a long-lost daughter who’s been entrusted to his care. When Kelly witnesses a televised massacre with Ruby’s fingerprints all over it, she returns with a new friend to warn Ash and Pablo that evil isn’t done with them yet. But evil will learn to never get in between a papa bear and his cub.”
