For us younger horror fans Syfy’s annual New Year’s marathon was the first exposure we got to “The Twilight Zone”, arguably the most influential, and I would say the best, science fiction show ever made.

Really, there’s nothing I can tell you about it you don’t already know; the twists, the horror, Rod Sterling’s perfect narration. And while it’s a lot easier nowadays to check out “Twilight Zone” due to Netflix and the internet and what not, New Years Syfy used to be one of the only ways to catch it.
If for tradition if nothing else, I’ll be tuning in this New Years to watch some of the best television ever made. Part one of the schedule has already been released via The Night Gallery.
