The first official teaser poster and trailer for Sony Screen Gems’ Slender Man has arrived. In the trailer, we see a hunt for a missing child, a suicide, and an urban legend stalk the woods.
While we can’t tell much about the appearance of the creepypasta-inspired-entity from the poster, we all know that Slender Man is tall and thin with long, slender limbs. His legend became common knowledge when two 12-year-old girls brutally stabbed their friend in his name.
The film from director Sylvain White stars Joey King, Julia Goldani Telles, Annalise Basso, Jaz Sinclair, Talitha Bateman, and Alex Fitzalan. David Birke and Victor Surge penned the script.
Slender Man will arrive in theaters on May 18, 2018, from Sony.
