2018 seems to be the year for horror video games that want to make you not just experience a game but you feel like your partaking in a horror movie, I Love It! Darriil Arts brings the terror in the soon to be released horror game, Remothered: Tormented Fathers a survival horror game resembling The Evil Within, Clock Tower, and Amnesia, in mechanics and style. You not only have to investigate to uncover the truth but you have to hide from enemies and use button smash techniques to survive your encounters with enemies.
Some believe Rosemary was modeled after Jodi Foster’s character from ‘Silence of the Lambs’
Players take on the role of Rosemary Reed, visiting Dr. Felton who’s sick with an unknown illness and is being cared for by a nurse named Gloria. Rosemary’s true reasoning behind coming to Felton’s home will turn her visit into a nightmare as Rosemary begins to investigate the disappearance of Felton’s daughter Celeste. Rosemary Believes the disappearance is part of some massacre that was kept secret and that Celeste’s real identity and the truth about a cult of cloistered nuns in red is hidden within the walls of the mansion.

Stealth will play an important role in the game as well as knowing where to hide and being ready at any moment to run for your life. Darriil Arts website mentions that “sound as your best friend and foe”, you can use sounds to distract enemies or you can accidentally make noise that will attract them! The game was just released for Steam and will be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 sometime this year!
