New Details Revealed For ‘The Crow’

It appears that Corin Hardy’s The Crow reboot is officially taking flight. The casting breakdown has now been released, revealing some of the changes from Alex Proyas’ ’94 original, including swapping the sex of some of the characters.

You’ll notice that the main character of Eric Draven is not listed below, that’s because Aquaman actor Jason Momoa has already signed on to play Draven, originally played by the late Brandon Lee.

T-BIRD

SHELLY
28 – 35, Eric’s one true love. A dancer with effortless talent.. Her undeniable beauty is matched only by her passion to teach dance to the inner city girls at her home studio. Shelly hopes to create peace in the community through teaching children, until she is brutally murdered by T-Bird and Top Dollar’s gang, setting off a violent chain of events as Eric seeks to avenge her death…

DETECTIVE ALBRECHT

RATSO

FUN BOY

TIN TIN
30s, a hulking monster of a man, with unstoppable fists. T-Bird’s undefeatable champion in the ring. Mean and tough. Accustomed to being shunned, grateful for the society of savages who have taken him in (T-Bird, Top Dollar, Ratso, Fun Boy, Gideon)…

The revamped version of the classic, written by Hardy and Jon Spaihts, is set to begin principal photography this July in Budapest, Hungary.
