‘Selfie From Hell’ Feature Film Announces Candian Release

Back in 2015, Erdal Ceylan’s short film Selfie From Hell, about a woman taking a selfie for her boyfriend, but there’s something strange in the photos, went viral, being viewed more than 20,957,00o times.
 


 
Now, the feature film, co-written by Paul Burton of Southpaw Productions, inspired by the short is ready to make its Candian premiere in Landmark Cinemas, Cineplex Theaters, and Drive-Ins across Canada in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, New Westminster, and Winnipeg this May. The film also has a new poster (above)
In the feature film, “When a sinister and mysterious entity stalks a young woman, her cousin is forced to delve into the depths of the darknet – where few venture – to discover the origin of the Selfie From Hell.”
 

 
Alyson Walker (The Burning Kiss), Tony Giroux (The Romeo Section, Arrow), Meelah Adams (Die Tierliebhaber), Ian Butcher (Fringe, Supergirl), and Tyler Smith star in this dark film that will make you think twice about taking a selfie.
