Summer is approaching and you know what that means, late night conversations around a campfire or a propane fire bit. Those fire bits are nice but you have to admit, those fake logs or fire glass can be kind of…lame, well not anymore!
The folks at Myard have the perfect replacement or addition to your fire pit or gas fireplaces, fireproof skulls. These ceramic skulls are made to withstand really hot temperatures in both a gas or wood-burning fireplaces or fire pits.

Use them around Halloween or if you’re like me, use them all year around! The skulls do come in different colors but depending on how often you use them and in what way, soot can build up on them and discolor them. Some people on the web have said they’ve used fireproof paints to repaint them or paint them up to look more realistic.
Myard says that the skulls are meant to be used in open fire pits or vented indoor fireplaces (gas or wood burning) only. On their Amazon page selling the skulls, they address common issues people have with the skulls. It should be noted that the jaws of the skulls come off, for some reason many people have complained about that.

There are also some new skulls in stock, skulls with the eyes hallowed out to allow flames to lick out from the eye sockets, and now demon skulls, perfect for making your fire pit look more hellish. It should be noted that the price is pretty heavy, the skulls range $50 to $70 for ONE skull and that’s not including shipping.
