One of the most overlooked characters of Jason Goes to Hell is Steven Williams‘ bounty hunter character, Creighton Duke who dedicated his to hunting down and killing Jason Voorhees.

It’s been 25 years since Creighton Duke’s battle with Jason, but it sounds like director Adam Marcus (Secret Santa) is interested in making a Creighton Duke spin-off.
During a discussion with Cinema Toast Crunchcast earlier this week Marcus revealed the exclusive first information about what he describes as “a Creighton Duke-inspired film.”

I have a movie… you’re the first ones I’ve talked about this to… that is a completely Creighton Duke-inspired movie,” Marcus said to the podcast. “We’re doing that next year. I can tell you that I’m talking with Steven Williams about this. I’m dead serious about this movie. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for years. For me, that was the character that I gave a crap about. That’s the guy that I adore. And, I’m tellin’ ya, I have something up my sleeve that’s gonna knock people out.”

What’s more, Friday the 13th Marcus would not have to go to the rights holders. He could easily make a movie starring Steven Williams as the bounty hunter character. As long as he doesn’t mention Jason or the franchise by name he could pull it off.
What do you think? Would you like to see a Friday the 13th spinoff?
