Remothered: Tormented Fathers”, a survival horror video game that’s a throwback to classic interactive entertainment titles that define the genre. With the impending console release less than 24 hours away (July 25, 2018) the game and its hardworking developers received some (well deserved) recognition and praise from a legend in the horror gaming field.
Chris Darril, creative director of “Remothered: Tormented Fathers” received a tweet from Keiichiro Toyama who praised the game. Toyama is the creator of critically acclaimed gaming horror phenomenon “Silent Hill”.
To put it in perspective to some, this is the equivalent of Leonardo da Vinci saying the sketch you just drew was amazing, Dave Grohl liking a melody you were humming, or Alfred Hitchcock praising your two-minute long film project.
Not only did Toyama praise the game, he even expressed interest in doing a project together with Darril someday which a big deal is since Toyama’s past works “Silent Hill” and “Siren” helped inspired “Remothered: Tormented Fathers”. If anyone has a right to “fanboy” like no other, it’s Chris Darril.
