‘Patient Zero’ Finally Coming Home This August

Sony’s contagion horror film Patient Zero is finally coming home this August.
After several delays, the film starring Matt Smith (“Doctor Who,” Terminator Genisys) and Academy Award nominee Stanley Tucci (The Hunger Games) finally has a concrete release date set for later this month.
Natalie Dormer (“Game of Thrones”), John Bradley (“Game of Thrones”), and Agyness Deyn co-star in the Stefan Ruzowitzky-directed flick.
In the film, “An unprecedented global pandemic of a super strain of rabies has turned the majority of humankind into highly intelligent, streamlined killers known as ‘The Infected.’ One victim, Morgan (Matt Smith), who is asymptomatic and can communicate with the infected, leads the last survivors on a hunt for Patient Zero and a cure.
Patient Zero arrives on VOD and Digital on August 14, 2018, followed by its theatrical release on September 14th, presented by Vertical.
