Hulu’s series “Castle Rock“, from J.J. Abrams, has just been renewed for a second season, Variety reports. And we couldn’t be happier. The show is dark, gritty, and the cast is absolutely phenomenal. It the ultimate series for fans of King’s works.
The Stephen King universe-set show will “approach each season as an unwritten Stephen King novel”, according to co-creator Sam Shaw.
Currently in the middle of its first season on the streaming network, “Castle Rock” stars André Holland, Melanie Lynskey, Sissy Spacek, Bill Skarsgård, Jane Levy, and Scott Glenn.
Sam Shaw & Dustin Thomason developed the project and serve as executive producers alongside J.J. Abrams, Ben Stephenson, and Liz Glotzer, as well as Bad Robot Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
