ITN Distribution and Millman Productions have just released the trailer for the supernatural thriller Ouija House from director Ben Demaree (Hansel v. Gretel).
Starring genre icon Dee Wallace, Sharknado actress Tara Reid (interview), and Mischa Barton (The Sixth Sense), the film centers on a graduate student who brings together a group that unwittingly unleash an evil entity while using an Ouija Board.
Ouija House centers on a graduate student who is trying to finish the last of her research on a book project that she hopes will help her down-on-her-luck mother. But when she brings friends to a house with a dark past, they unwittingly summon an evil entity who makes the house part of its game.
Carly Schroeder (Lizzy McGuire, Forget Me Not), Chris Mulkey (Captain Phillips), Mark Grossman, Grace Demarco, and Derrick A. King also star, with appearances by scream queens Tiffany Shepis (interview), Eva Hamilton, Sarah French, and Susan Slaughter. Justin Hawkins and Jeff Miller penned the screenplay, based on a story by Miller.
Stuart Alson of ITN, David Coppa, Felix McNulty, Tom Hillery, and Ray Young serve as Executive Producers. Dylan Matlock, Tom Nagel, and Carly Schroeder are Co-Producers. Maytal Mizrahi is Associate Producer. Ken Stachnik as Gaffer and Ryan Pilz are listed as the production designer. Shannon Marie Sauceda was Costume Designer. Veronica Rodarte handled the bulk of the makeup FX,
with some props by Jim Ojala. Special features on the DVD will include cast/crew commentary and the official trailer.
