New Images Arrive As ‘Overlord’ Gears Up To Invade Theaters

The bloody, highly-anticipated film Overlord is set to land in theaters this November following its theatrical premiere last night at Alamo Drafthouse. From producer J.J. AbramsOverlord is a thrilling, pulse-pounding action adventure with a twist. Today, we have some new images to share with you.
 

 
In the WWII set film, “with only hours until D-Day, a team of American paratroopers drops into Nazi-occupied France to carry out a mission that’s crucial to the invasion’s success.  Tasked with destroying a radio transmitter atop a fortified church, the desperate soldiers join forces with a young French villager to penetrate the walls and take down the tower.  But, in a mysterious Nazi lab beneath the church, the outnumbered G.I.s come face-to-face with enemies unlike any the world has ever seen.”

Directed by Julius AveryOverlord stars Jovan Adepo and Wyatt Russell star of  “Ladder 49”, along with Jacob Anderson (“Game of Thrones”), Dominic Applewhite (The King’s Speech), Pilou Asbaek (“Game of Thrones”), Iain de Caestecker (“Marvel’s AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.”), John Magaro (The Big Short), Mathilde Ollivier (The Misfortunes of Francois Jane), and Bokeem Woodbine (“Fargo”).
Abrams produced alongside Lindsey Weber with Jo Burn, Jon Cohen, and Bennett Lewis executive producing. The screenplay was written by Bill Ray and Mark L. Smith, based on a story by Ray.
Paramount will unleash Overlord in theaters and IMAX nationwide on November 9, 2018.
