After all these years Sylvester Stallone is still a badass and he’s going to prove it. A scrapped idea for Rambo 5 is being reworked and turned into a horror film! The stand-alone movie is an adaptation of James Byron Huggins’ novel Hunter.
While the film will not feature Stallone’s famous character Rambo, but we will see the action star go head to head with a monstrous beast in the Arctic.
It’s being reported by multiple sources that Stallone’s recently formed production company Balboa Productions will be doing the movie that has been in the works for almost a decade.
Hunter centers on a man named Nathaniel Hunter, who is an expert tracker that is recruited by the military to hunt down an inhuman beast roaming the Arctic circle. Half human and half monster,  the creature made by a renegade agency is leaving a trail of destruction. It’s up to Stallone to track it down and kill it.
It may be a while before we see the film enter production, Stallone has two projects ahead of it, Rambo: Last Blood and Samaritan, which he promises is a fresh take on the superhero genre. Balboa Productions is currently in search of a writer for Hunter.
