Some doubters have been worrying that Zombieland 2 will fall through again. Well, we are here to tell you that filming has already begun. In fact, word has come via 13WMAZ that several roads will be closed in Macon, Georgia next week during the shooting of several scenes.
Ahead of February 4, 2019, the lower portion of Eisenhower Parkway will be shut down with Gravitational Productions in the area beforehand. Filming is set to run from February 4 through the 10th. Streets between Lower Boundry Street and Broadway will also be closed for filming.

In Zombieland: Double Tap we will see the return of the original stars including Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Abigail Breslin, and Emma Stone. Zoey Deutch, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Rosario Dawson, and Avan Jogia will round out the cast.
Ruben Fleischer returns to the director’s chair for the sequel to his 2009 hit zombie movie and will direct from the script penned by Dave Callaham and Rhett Reese.
Zombieland 2 is set to open in theaters nationwide on October 11, 2019, from Sony.
