While Mike Flanagan’s adaptation of Stephen King’s The Shining sequel Doctor Sleep wasn’t a huge smash at the box office, it’s getting nothing but praise.

You may be wondering where the franchise will go from here, we can answer that. Warner Bros. has already struck a deal with Flanagan to write a spin-off based on the character of Dick Hallorann, simply titled Hallorann.

The chef of the Overlook Hotel was made famous by Scatman Crothers in Stanely Kubrick’s The Shining. The character was most recently played by Carl Lumby in Doctor Sleep. There is no word yet if Lumby will reprise his role in Hallorann or if multiple actors will play the Dick Hallorann.

Doctor Sleep is now playing in theaters.
