Netflix & BBC’s “Dracula” Sinks Its Fangs Into A Release Date

From the makers of “Sherlock” comes “Dracula,” starring Claes Bang (The Girl in the Spider’s Web). And today, we’ve got the BBC premiere date.

The three-episode 90-minute series, written and created by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss,  is a co-production of Netflix and BBC and is based on Bram Stoker’s classic tale.

Set in Transylvania in 1897, the blood-drinking Count is drawing his plans against Victorian London.

John Heffernan, Dolly Wells, Sacha Dhawan, Jonathan Aris, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, and Joanna Scanlan also star.

The first episode premieres on BBC at 9 pm on January 1, 2020. The next airs on January 2nd, followed by the third and final episode on January 3rd. There is no word yet when “Dracula” will premiere on Netflix. The episode titles include “The Rules of the Beast,” “Blood Vessel” and “The Dark Compass.”
