Mi’gMaq writer-director Jeff Barnaby‘s zombie thriller Blood Quantum flips the western genre on its ear in its new gory trailer.
In the film, the dead come back to life outside the isolated Mi’gMaq reservation of Red Crow whose people are somehow immune to the plague. A tribal sheriff must find a way to protect his son’s pregnant girlfriend, refugees, and his people from the horde of hungry zombies.
“Fear the Walking Dead” actor Michael Greyeyes, stars alongside Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers (On the Farm) and Forrest Goodluck (The Revenant). John Christou of Prospector Film produced along with XYZ Films. Madrona Drive serves as an executive producer.
