The world of “The Witcher” is growing. Not only has the series been renewed, but Netflix has also greenlit a movie, titled The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf.

Few details have been released, but we do know that “the continent will face a new threat.” We’ve also learned that the film will be anime.”

The live-action series’ showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich is attached to the film as well as Beau DeMayo who wrote one of the episodes for the first season. The legendary Studio Mir, who also worked on Voltron: Legendary Defender for Netflix, will animate the movie.

There is no word yet if Henry Cavill or other members of “The Witcher’s” cast will lend their voices to the movie, but we hope that they will.

We should know more soon.
