Netflix’s Zombie Series “Kingdom” Gets A Premiere Date And Teaser

Netflix’s medieval set Korean zombie series “Kingdom” has not only been renewed for a second season, but the streaming giant has also just announced the premiere date and released a teaser.

Set South Korea’s medieval era known as the Joseon period (1392-1897), a kingdom has been defeated by corruption and famine as a mysterious plague spreads to turn those infected into monsters. The crown prince, framed for treason and desperate to save his people, sets out on a suicide mission to unveil what evil lurks in the dark.

The series is written by Kim Eun-hee (Signal), based on his webcomic Land of the Gods.

Directed by Kim Seong-hun, “Kingdom” returns on March 13th.
