Spyglass Entertainment is rebooting one of horror fans’ favorites, Scream. News has come that that Ready or Not (review) directors Matthew Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett are now attached, Variety reports.
The 1996 original starred Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott, a target of Ghostface. Courtney Cox and David Arquette co-starred in Wes Craven’s four-movie franchise which featured sequels released in 1997, 2000, and 2011.
Lantern Entertainment currently owns the rights to Scream, which they purchased in 2018 from Weinstein Co.
