Blumhouse’s Zombie Series “Betaal” Premieres This Weekend On Netflix

Blumhouse continues to fuel horror fan’s nightmares. The genre powerhouse will unleash their new zombie action series “Betaal” this weekend on Netflix.

Set in a remote village, which quickly becomes the arena of a breathless battle when a two-century-old East India Company Colonel, infected with the Betaal’s curse, and his battalion of blood-thirsty zombie redcoats are released from their tomb – attacking anything with a pulse. With the Counter Insurgency Police Department (CIPD) forces pitted against the undead army, hapless civilians are trapped in a gripping, edge-of-your-seat conflict.

The series features 4 50-minute episodes and stars Vineet Kumar Singh, Suchitra Pillai, Aahana Kumra, Jeetendra Joshi, Jatin Goswami, Manjiri Pupala, and Syna Anand

Directed by Patrick Graham and Nikhil Mahajan and co-written by Graham and Suhani Kanwar, the series is executive produced by Jason Blum, Jeremy Gold, Marci Wiseman, Kilian Kerwin, John Penotti, Michael Hogan, Gauri Khan, Gaurav Verma, Venky Mysore, and Vikramaditya Motwane. Red Chillies Entertainment is producing.
