Horror Classic ‘The Changeling’ Getting A Remake

For years there have been rumors of a remake of Peter Medak’s 1980 horror classic The Changeling, Now, Deadline has confirmed that it’s finally on its way.

The site reports that Finnish filmmaker Anders Engström (“Taboo,” Hanna) will be directing the upcoming remake, produced by Joel B. Michaels. Tab Murphy penned the script.

“The film follows a musician who, after the death of his young daughter, returns to his childhood home. After a series of terrifying events, he begins to unlock the mystery of the dead child that haunts his home along with a terrible family secret.”
