One of the most highly-anticipated genre films of the summer is Egor Abramenko‘s film, Sputnik, part sci-fi, part creature feature, and all horror. Today we can report that the film now has a US release date and a brand new trailer (you can find both trailers below)!
In the Russian born film, “the lone survivor of an enigmatic spaceship incident hasn’t returned back home alone—hiding inside his body is a dangerous creature. His only hope: a doctor who’s ready to do whatever it takes to save her patient.”
Oksana Akinshina (Lilya 4-Ever), Fedor Bondarchuk (9th Company), and Pyotr Fyodorov (TThe Darkest Hour) star.
Sputnik lands on VOD in the US on August 14th, from IFC Midnight.
