We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but fans of “The Walking Dead” will be disappointed to learn that the 11th season of the hit series will not premiere this October as planned, thanks to the pandemic.

Angela Kang, the series’ showrunner, made he announcement yesterday during the Comic-Con@Home panel. It was also announced that the season 10 finale will now air on October 4th at 9 pm ET on AMC. Originally set to air in April, it too was a victim on the Coronavirus.

Now that we’ve got the bad news out of the way, here’s the good news. Kang revealed that season 10 will be getting six additional episodes which will air in early 2021 bringing the episode total to 22.
