While “The X-Files” starring David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson my be over (*wipes away a tear), we haven’t seen the last of the weird cases from the iconic series. A new animated series titled “The X-Files: Albuquerque” from Fox will take fans on new investigations without Scully and Mulder, TV Line reports.
According to the site, “ the potential series will center an office full of misfit agents who investigate X-Files cases too wacky, ridiculous or downright dopey for Mulder and Scully to bother with. They’re essentially the X-Files’ B-team.”
Rocky Russo and Jeremy Sosenko (“Paradise PD”) are attached to write the pilot episode and executive produce.“The X-Files” creator Chris Carter is attached to executive produce as well.
