Dystopian Films, the production company behind Amazon’s “Age of the Living Dead” and the upcoming film The Nights Before Christmas, has launched its largest and most ambitious project to date, a trilogy of horror anthologies titled The United States of Horror.
Funded by an Indiegogo campaign, the production will feature 50 short horror films, one from every state in the US. Perks include everything from pre-order copies to executive producer credits. It also provides a way for you to get in touch with producers include Simon Phillips, Paul Tanter, and Ken Bressers if you are interested in directing a segment.
Promoting the production Simon Phillips said “This is a personal passion project for Paul, Ken and I – we all love the horror genre so much and the horror community is like no other! I want to ensure that the trilogy we make this fall is something bigger than the sum of its parts, and we look forward to scaring people in a non-pandemic way in 2021.“
The United States of Horror is due for release in October of 2021.
