On Friday, the stars of Hocus Pocus had a reunion to benefit a charity. The big question is will three ever reunite for a sequel? The answer is hopefully yes!

Variety is reporting that Disney Plus is currently working on a sequel. While the sequel has been stuck in development for a while now, the charity event has renewed the public’s interest. Though no casting or plot details have been released, we do know that Hocus Pocus 2 will be directed by Adam Shankman, which we first reported on earlier this year. Both Shankman and Disney have stated multiple times that they are both hoping Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy will return as the Sanderson Sisters.

After all these years, Hocus Pocus, originally released back in 1993, still remains one of the most-watched Halloween.

In the movie, a boy wakes the Sanderson Sisters from their sleep after centuries by lighting the black flamed candle. While trying to save his sister and his crush, as well as the rest of the town,  Max (Omri Katz) takes on the three witches with the help of a talking cat (once a boy), and a zombie.

We’ll keep you posted.
