Just before Halloween, we reported that a revival of the serial killer series “Dexter” was on its way. At the time the plot had not been revealed, but thanks to THR it has now come to light.
Michael C. Hall returns to his role as Dexter, a killer of killers, for the 10-episode new season that picks up ten years after the events of the season eight finale.
“Set 10 years after Dexter Morgan went missing in the yey of Hurricane Laura, the revival sees the character now living under an assumed name in a world away from Miami.”
The original series’ showrunner Clyde Phillips is also returning along with Marcos Siega, director of nine episodes of the original series, who will direct six of the new episodes as well as executive produce.
“Dexter” returns next Fall.
